Privacy Policy
What This Policy Covers
This privacy policy explains how FIX Restoration collects, uses, and protects information you share when you visit this website or contact us about a restoration project. We keep this policy plain on purpose, you should be able to read it in a few minutes and understand exactly where your information goes.
If you have questions that aren’t answered here, reach us directly at [email protected] or (801) 930-9750.
Information We Collect
When you fill out a contact or estimate-request form, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, property address, and any description of the damage you provide. We do not collect payment card numbers through the website.
The site also collects standard analytics data, page views, general geographic region, browser type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We use it to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site over time.
How We Use Your Information
The information you submit is used for one purpose: to help you. That means calling or emailing you back to discuss your situation, scheduling an on-site estimate, and, if you move forward with services, coordinating the documentation your insurance carrier needs to process a claim.
We do not use your contact details for marketing lists, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party.
When We Share Information
The only time your information leaves FIX Restoration is when you ask us to coordinate directly with your insurance company. In that case, we share claim-related documentation, photos, moisture readings, scope of work, with your carrier and, where required, with your adjuster or a third-party administrator. We do this only with your authorization, typically captured in the work-authorization form you sign before services begin.
We may also disclose information if required by law or a valid legal process.
How Long We Keep It
Contact and project records are retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the services, support any warranty period, and comply with applicable Utah contractor recordkeeping requirements. If you would like your information removed after a project is complete, contact us and we will honor that request to the extent permitted by law.
Your Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of that information. We do not sell personal information, so the opt-out right is not practically applicable, but the right to know and the right to deletion both are. To exercise either, contact us at the email or phone number above.
Visitors from outside the United States should be aware that this site is operated for a Utah-based contractor serving a domestic market. We do not specifically target or process data from European Union residents, and GDPR is unlikely to apply to most visitors. If you believe it applies to your situation, contact us and we will work with you in good faith.
